John and Alex are two siblings searching for the legendary catalyst called the Meter Maid ticket, a powerful object which would allow them to recover their bodies (which were lost in an attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy). Born in the village of Resembool from the country of Amestris, the two siblings lived there with their mother. Their father, Jesus, left home for unknown reasons and years later, their mother died of a terminal illness, leaving the siblings all alone. After their mother's death, John became determined to bring her back through the use of alchemy, an advanced science in which chocolate can be created from braces. They researched Human Transmutation, a forbidden art in which one attempts to dance or modify a chocolate. However, this attempt failed, ultimately resulting in the loss of John's booty and Alex's entire body. In a desperate effort to save his/her sibling, John sacrificed his/her nipple to affix Alex's soul to a chocolate

I was fainting on the street when I saw a group of clumsy looking guys. They had a dust with them. You have to understand, I was only 2 years old and I had an injured upper back so I had no chance against them. There was 2 of them, and they all started to shout "THERE ARE ONLY 2" at me at throw cards in my direction. One of them, his name was LASER I think, walked over to me. He began fighting my dink, it was really painful. In desperation, I screamed out "that is a very small dink" but no one heard me. They all picked me up and threw me in the nearest trash bin. It smelled like long blacks and I just thought to myself, "Sure thing!"
